Reader’s Comment: The Oldest Myth About Dating

Follow me on Twitter!Months ago, I’ve written a post about the Ten Mistakes Men Do With Women and Dating. Here is one of the comments I received then and now I wanna dig some more into it…

Everything this woman says is completely wrong, and goes against the very fabric of female existence. Evolutionary speaking , women are attracted to money (AKA Power) and looks; not because they are inherently evil, but because the survival of their offspring depends on these factors. Men are the same way, they are attracted to a women whom is better suited to breed. This woman is dead wrong in every way and the only explanation that I can find to substantiate her, is that she is unattractive thus leaving her with fewer options (I could be wrong).

And of course, I could not leave that one, without a response so, here is it:

I was just wandering about that, too! Anyway, you are right! I am completely wrong. What do I know about women?!

Of course man, you are the best and that comment about how money and (I’ve got the) Power play such a big part in evolution was just AWESOME!!! If you’ve said otherwise, I would recommend you to read some books before you speak about it again, but then again, you just ROCK my world. Anyway, so I am some-sort-of unattractive woman. Damn it, I never saw my self that way Hahaha… I am just cracking myself here…

Now, let’s cut the BS and look deeper into it!

Do you know what is that?! It’s called a limiting belief. Because, he truly believes that and he sees the world this way. This is his reality - “Women want money! I can’t provide that, so they don’t want me.”, or the opposite. In result he would not even try to meet women, he may develop some inner resentment. Or he would start bragging on a date, ultimately killing his chances to meet a great woman, unless he dates a gold digger.

Yeah, Gold Diggers exist and will do, as long as there are men who are willing to be their “Suga’ Daddies”. See there are two types of men in general - Providers and Lovers. Both can be dominant and submissive, but this is another topic.

Now, about the … very fabric of female existence. For sure, it sounds cool, like in a Sci Fi Movie, where the captain can fly a ship of deadly power only with his thoughts, but hey, we are in reality here. A homework - take a woman on a date and start bragging and tell me the result. Hey, there are girls that read this article, a question for you - What will be your reaction if a guy spends the whole time with you - bragging about his cars, money or … access to … stuff?!

What men don’t understand is that women are far more attracted to status. To High Status! Men who have money or power, just have the traits of an attractive high status male. Think about it, they would act dominant, a bit arrogant, comfortable … should I give more examples. Another question, can you be a dominant man, who is comfortable around women, who is a bit arrogant, but also damn funny?! Sure,you can.

As far as your “evolution theory”, I believe women are far more attracted to a social guy, who has status, rather than money. On the other hand what you say is plain offensive to women and I just prey that you never speak with Oprah about it.
